Our Heritage Tour is the most comprehensive one-day tour offered in the country and it is a great introduction to the beauty and diversity of Costa Rica. Visitors will travel into the cloudforests of the central highlands and then travel down to the warm tropical lowland rainforests while visiting many beautiful attractions on the way

The trip begins with a delicious Costa Rican breakfast at a traditional coffee plantation with magnificent views of the Central Valley. After touring the coffee farm, the journey continues upward to the rim of Poas Volcano. Inside the national park, guests can take a leisurely walk along a forest trail leading to the main crater of the volcano, one of the largest active craters in the world.

As we descend the mountain to the caribbean slope we will stop at La Paz Waterfall Gardens, where we’ll have an opportunity to enjoy the spectacular view of the most visited and photographed waterfalls in the country.  This is a spectacular tour in itself featuring close encounters with beautiful hummingbirds, the worlds largest butterfly garden, and virgin rainforest.

Lunch will be enjoyed at the Waterfall Gardens, and we descend into the Central Valley by late afternoon.
