The volcanoes, hot springs and scenery offer a unique combination of memorable experiences. The balance of agriculture, cattle ranching and sustainable development projects has been harmonized in this area of Costa Rica considered the energetic hub of the nation.

DAY 1:

Takes you to the Arenal-Fortuna area, you will enjoy the natural hot-springs and the frequent night-time eruptions.

DAY 2:

Tour to the Fortuna waterfall and Arenal Lake and Volcano, more time to explore the town and relax in the hot-springs.

DAY 3:

Explore the Venado Limestone Caves and then continue past the Tenorio Volcano to colorful Volcano Miravalles Lodge near the Miravalles.

DAY 4:

Explore the Miravalles, the highest Volcano in Northern Costa Rica. This private ranch with over 500 acres offers total peace and relaxation with wildlife observation, hiking and horseback riding.

DAY 5:

Full day of exploration of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano including hot-springs and mud pits. Return to Miravalles Lodge for relaxation and overnight.

DAY 6:

Transfer to Los Inocentes Lodge just north of Orosi Volcano, the route is very colorful through rich farmland teeming with life. Beautiful views of the Nicaragua Lake from a distance.

DAY 7:

Discover the trails throughout Hacienda Los Inocentes on horseback or farm tractor ride. Take in the majestic views from the beautiful hardwood Hacienda house.

DAY 8:

After breakfast we head to the capital city of the Guanacaste Province – Liberia. We explore the city which is hub to fine cattle ranching before continuing to San Jose for a rest or a night out.
